IV Infusion therapy
Monoclonal Antibody

REGEN-COV™ (casirivimab and imdevimab)

This is the product that Donald Trump received while in office as president. We offer it as a shot under the skin or an IV infusion outside of our clinc or in the convenience of your home. We charge an infusion fee of $400 that needs to be paid before the trip. To qualify you need to be over 65, or have hypertension, or diabetes, or lung disease or at risk from other diseases. Those with a BMI over 30 qualify as well as those who have family members with severe problems from Covid. Treatment needs to be started in 5 days of onset of symptoms, or can be given to those who had a high risk exposure with a positive Covid person over 5 hours.

We also will prescribe for our clients Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine at the onset of their illness or for prophylaxis. We recommend an immune boosting regime of vitamins which can be obtained at Landmark or we can send them to you. We follow the recommendations from American Association of Physician and Surgeons.

Sotrovimab or Xevudy

An interim analysis of the COMET-ICE study is assessing the safety and efficacy of sotrovimab in adults with confirmed COVID-19 (mild, early disease with less than 5 days of symptoms) at risk of disease progression. It reduced the risk of hospitalization for more than 24 hours or death by 85% compared with placebo. Overall 1% of patients receiving sotrovimab died or required hospitalization for more than 24 hours compared to 7% of the placebo group. The efficacy is better than Regen-Cov and the federal government has put a hold on Regen-Cov to Texas. Sotrovimab will be cash pay for $400 (thanks to Texas for buying it for Texans)  an infusion. We have resources to show how one can file their own insurance claim if you have  that coverage.

Covid Treatments

Zinc sulfate, gluconate or citrate

Zinc sulfate 220 mg provides 50 mg elemental zinc, the recommended anti-viral dose.

Vitamin D3

Recommended doses for non Vit D takers for anti-viral benefit vary from 5000 IU or more for 5-30 days. Those who have adequate known Vit D levels or regulary supplement can take 2000 IU and it is preferable in oil in capsules for better absorption.

Vitamin C

with bioflavonoids for antioxidant, anti-inflammatory effects. Dose recommendations vary from 1000 mg (1 gram) once or twice a day up to 4 or more times a day. Prophylaxis is better at the higher dose and treatment while sick is better at the lower dose. We offer Vit C with quercetin. A word about quercetin. Some physicians are recommending this supplement to reduce viral illnesses because quercetin acts as a zinc ionophore to improve zinc uptake into cells. It is much less potent than HCQ as a zinc transporter, and it does not reach high concentrations in lung cells that HCQ does. Quercetin may help
reduce risk of viral illness if you are basically healthy. But it is not potent enough to replace HCQ for treatment of COVID once you have symptoms, and it does not adequately get into lung tissue unless you take massive doses (3-5 grams a day), which cause significant GI side effects such as diarrhea.

Melatonin

We recommend melatonin at 10 mg if you can tolerate the drowsiness to even 20mg to boost your immune system and interfere with viral uptake. See our Post about Covid here on our site.

Lactoferrin

From Life Extension has potent antiviral affects and anti-inflammatory as well. Pub Med offers an extensive review. Lactoferrin has exhibited extensive, broad-spectrum antiviral activity. For example, affects on  heparan sulfate proteoglycans and ACE2 can prevent SARS-CoV from infecting host cells also its extensive immunoregulatory and anti-inflammatory effects may help treat SARS-CoV-2 and the prevention of its devastating effects on multiple target organs.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids

Works at a central area for regulation of viral transcription as well as inhibition of inflammation (blocking the activity of NF-κB through decreasing the degradation of the inhibitory subunit of the NF-κB called IkB). DHA and EPA are precursors of particles or SPM called resolvins D and E, which reduce the proinflammatory mediators thereby reducing pulmonary neutrophils recruitment, increasing apoptosis by macrophages, and subsequently decreasing broncho-alveolar IL-6 production and as a result, decreasing inflammation of the lung. Pro-Resolving Mediators (SPM) including 18-hydroxyeicosapentaenoic acid (18-HEPE), 17-hydroxydocosahexaenoic acid (17-HDHA), & 14-hydroxydocosahexaenoic acid (14-HDHA) are augmented by aspirin. So aspirin is probably the best fever and ache medicine to use during Covid, and at higher doses.
